EMV™ Solution for Branch Banks

Issue smart cards instantly in your branches

The new Datacard® EMV™ based branch issuance solution gives you the on-demand ability to put EMV™ cards or other smart card products in your customers' hands instantly in your branch locations. This solution makes the process fast, easy and affordable, reducing the cost and complexity of issuing smart cards.

Customers can request either a new or replacement card at any branch location. Cardholder data is collected and sent over a virtual private network (VPN) to your host system. If the cardholder's credit is approved, our solution generates smart card data, encrypts it and sends it back to the branch location. A desktop Datacard® card personalization system then personalizes a ready-to-use smart card for your customer.

Datacard® FlashCredit™ Software

Datacard® FlashCredit™ is one of several customized Datacard® software solutions that help you get the most from your Datacard® 150i desktop card personalization system. This innovative solution allows retailers to instantly issue secure credit and loyalty cards to customers at the point of sale.

When a customer requests a card at a retail site, customer data is captured and transmitted to an off-site host PC where it is evaluated for credit authorization. A customer can then choose a personal identification number (PIN), which is encrypted and transmitted to the off-site host. Shortly thereafter, a 150i system located inside the store issues a personalized card that the customer can begin using immediately.
